Finance & Transaction Assistant
Finance
As part of the Finance team, you will help with the day-to-day finance tasks, including: - Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts. - Supporting the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process. - Preparing financial reports and helping with budgets and forecasts. - Reconciling bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other finance records. - Processing supplier invoices and preparing payment runs. - Helping manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Monitoring and reviewing company expenses. - Assisting with VAT return preparation and submissions to ROS. - Making sure financial records are accurate and up to date. - Maintaining accounting records and helping keep finance systems organised. - Answering finance-related questions from other teams. What We're Looking For - At least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role. - Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end processes. - Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting software (Xero experience is an advantage but not essential). - Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. - A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills. - Fluent written and spoken English. - Eligible to live and work in the EU.
